What is Altasurance?
Altasurance is a locally-owned independent insurance agency – which gives us many special powers that you will not find from typical “captive” agencies. What is an independent insurance agency? How is it different?
An independent insurance agency has the ability to provide access to policies from numerous insurance carriers – not just a single insurance company. The independent insurance agency model offers a welcome alternative to customers that have finally grown frustrated with the limitations and problems that are often affiliated with typical “captive” insurance agencies.
Why did the name change from Red Rock Insurance Group to Altasurance?
In early 2021 Red Rock Insurance Group became Altasurance. This change was made to minimize confusion due to other businesses with similar names, as well as a symbol of the exciting vision we have for our futurue. The name changed, but we are still the same agency, same ownership, the same people, and same agents – and still provide you with the same access to all of our insurance carriers & products.

If you think you may need to file an insurance claim your first step is to contact your agent. From there your agent will advise you on what to do and provide you with the next steps to take in your unique situation.
How do I pay for my insurance premiums?
You can pay your insurance premiums with a credit card online or by phone, as well as the traditional way by mailing a check to your particular carrier.

For 99.9% of individuals with standard homeowners insurance policies Flood damage is not covered. Most homeowners will require a Flood policy to supplement their standard home policy if they need this type of coverage.
