Welcome to Our Fundraiser
For the last 5 years Altasurance – previously as Red Rock Insurance Group, has proudly sponsored BoH, as well as their annual StB drive. This year we are truly thrilled to add to our support of Bundles of Hope and Stuff the Bus! In addition to Altasurance’s regular support, we will make an additional contribution of $10 to Bundles of Hope for every qualified new insurance quote request that we receive and complete through December 31, 2021 – with no obligation or purchase required,.
Again, there really is no commitment to switch or purchase required. All we ask is that you give us the opportunity to present a quote on a qualified new insurance policy, tell you how much money can save you, and show you why Altasurance is the best independent insurance agency around. And, just for doing that we will donate an additional $10 to this worthy organization.

Bundles of Hope
Diaper Bank
Bundles of Hope is Birmingham-basaed non-profit organization that supports local parents experiencing financial hardship by providing the adequate supply of diapers needed to keep a child clean, dry and healthy. The diapers and financial donations collected by Bundles of Hope allows them to serve hundreds of families each week. The 7th Annual Stuff the Bus Diaper Drive begins on Friday, September 24th, 2021 and is a two week event that is vital to the organizations ability to continue serving these families, and can provide the opportunity to assist even more of parents & children that still need help.

Reviewing Your Quote
After you submit your request our team will use the information provided to match you with coverages, carriers and policies. Depending on the type(s) of insurance in your quote we may need to contact you to ask a couple of quick questions.
Once completed, an Altasurance agent will call you to review your quotes and answer your questions. We will not pressure you in any way to make a commitment. And once you have reviewed the quote with an Altasurance agent and informed them of your decision we will make an additional contribution to Bundles of Hope.
Diaper Need
Diapers are an expensive necessity for anyone with an infant or toddler. They are not covered by any government program such as SNAP or WIC. In Birmingham, there are more than 14,500 children under the age of five, and 29% of our community lives below the poverty line, which is $24,250 for a family of four. Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank desires to help all families experiencing “diaper need” due to financial hardship by providing them with diapers at no cost.
A lack of diapers can also affect childcare options. Many childcare facilities will not allow children to be dropped off without an adequate amount of disposable diapers for the day. A mother or father may have to stay home with their child instead of going to work or school limiting their resources even further.
Current Impact
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic Bundles of Hope didn’t close a single day and shared over $1.2 Million in resources to meet community needs. Bundles currently partners with over 45 community agencies and has expanded programming to include:
- Diaper Program
- Diaper Time is Talk Time
- Period Program
- Disaster Relief
In 2014, a group of women from Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church who were planning a baby shower for a single mother began discussing the high cost of diapers. After contacting nearby food banks, churches, and the United Way’s 2-1-1 Assistance they found that “diaper need” was, in fact, a reality for thousands of families in our area. There was nowhere for these families to turn for help.
Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank held their first diaper drive in October 2014 at Mountain Chapel UMC collecting over 3,500 diapers and gave away 2,300 of those diapers in December at the Green Valley Baptist Church’s Food Bank. Within the first year of operation, Bundles of Hope distributed nearly 20,000 diapers to families in need. They now distribute 75,000 diapers a month, and, as of March 2021, they’ve distributed 2.7 Million diapers.
